STONEHENGE & PEWSEY CANOE CLUB

 

Breaking News - We now have lots of new equipment including 2 Canadians, 5 Pyranha Master TG's, 5 Pyranha Master TG Lites, 1 x Dagger Dynamo and a Topo Duo "Great FUN"!!!

 

Based at Pewsey Wharf on the Kennet & Avon Canal, the canoe club offers all you need to enjoy the fun & games of Canoeing in a safe and friendly environment.

 

The club has qualified British Canoe Union (BCU) instructors who are willing and eager to share all they know about this rapidly growing sport.

 

The club also uses Pewsey Swimming Pool if you want to practice those more wet aspects of canoeing in the comfort of a nice warm swimming pool. These are usually during the winter months when the weather is against us on the canal. Although there will be odd occasions throughout the summer where we will be in the pool.
Recreational activities include skills teaching including BCU star tests and the recently introduced Paddlepower and Paddlessport Performance Awards, advancement to coaching status, rolling courses, river touring and camping weekends.
